Have you asked yourself how can I help MPC? Are you looking for a way to touch someone’s life? Would you like to help a MPC family/individual at a time when they need a hand? The Deacons might have your answer.

The Deacons are in need of someone to oversee coordinating meals for a family or individual who has had an emergency, birth, death, etc. making it difficult for them to prepare meals. The Deacons will let you know when there is a request for meals and also provide you with a contact list of volunteers willing to provide meals. Ushers Wanted

Ushers are Very Important People. The person who hands you a church bulletin, with a smile, is the first to show we are a friendly church. Let’s smile back and appreciate them—after all, they got to church half an hour before the rest of us. That’s early!

I do thank all the people who so graciously consent, when I phone them, to serve as ushers. But it is be even nicer to have volunteers So here is a Big Extra MAHALO to the volunteers.

How do you volunteer? There is a sign-up sheet on a clipboard on the table just inside the Sunday School building door. Serving as an usher is a great way to meet people— a good job for newcomers! Don’t be shy— sign up!
