Who We Are We are a Christian family of about 170 members who have been witnessing to the Good News of Jesus Christ in the Mililani area for over 35 years. The church was organized as a Preschool ministry to the newly developing community in Mililani. The first phase of what is now the Christian Education Wing was completed in 1970. The Worship Center was dedicated Easter 1986. We welcome visitors and receiving new members brings special joy to all of us. Membership represents trust in Jesus Christ and commitment to him as Lord. New members are received on confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, reaffirmation of faith, or by letter of transfer. The Sacrament of Baptism is provided for children and adults who have not been previously baptized. We look forward to seeing you at church. Our Vision OUR CHURCH FAMILY Everyone can find some activity with which to become involved as part of our church family. Members and friends lead our Sunday School program for all ages, and share in the work of the church ministry teams including: Christian Education, Congregation Life, Mission, Evangelism, Worship and Finance and Facilities. OUR VISION Mililani Presbyterian Church is a place of welcome for all, having a particular passion for the needs of children, youth and their families. Building on who we are, God is calling us to be: A church that reaches out as well as welcomes in with the Good News of God's saving love in Jesus Christ; A church where every child and adult is committed to Christ, assimilated and integrated into the Body of Christ, equipped for the Body of Christ, supported by the Body of Christ and invitiing others to become a part of the Body of Christ; A church that experiences growth in membership, faciities and staff. To return to top, click here. Our Leadership SESSION This governing board of twelve elders, who serve overlapping three-year terms, is elected by the congregation. (The word “Presbyterian” is from the Greek word in the Bible meaning “Elder”). All church ministries are under the direction of Session as follows: Clerk of Session - Dorothy Dale Christian Education - Kay DeWeese Congregation Life - Stacy Shishido Ourreach - Wally Park; Dave Keim Worship - Doug Wright Facilities & Finances - Charlie Cabral, Hugh Lee BOARD OF DEACONS The nine deacons manage the church Parish Program, to provide care and support for the church members and friends, and to assist in new member assimilation.
