About Worship

Worship provides an opportunity for members, friends and visitors to experience and participate in worship and praise to God. We worship in the name of Jesus Christ since it is through him alone that we have the personal assurance of God’s love, forgiveness and salvation. We confess him to be our Lord and Savior, the one and only Son of God.

Worship includes the sharing of church family news, hymns and spiritual songs, prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication, assurance of forgiveness, an offering, a reading from the Bible and a message of instruction or inspiration from the pastor. Child care is available (but not required!) for both infants and toddlers.
Click here for more information about child care.

Special occasions (such as Baptism, welcome of new members, ordination of elders/deacons) are also part of worship as are Special Offerings. Most months follow a pattern similar to the following. And, of course, there is a special time between Worship and Sunday School for fellowship with your Christian brothers and sisters.
