Missions and Community Service
Lahaina, Maui 2025
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
PDA is the emergency and refugee program of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. which enables congregations and partners of the PC (USA) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crisis and catastrophic event, i.e., Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, Camp Fire in Northern California's Butte County in November 2018, and most recently, the Maui wildfires in August 2023.
MPC volunteers participated in the restoration of homes in New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as in Paradise, California and worked alongside Habitat for Humanity in Lahaina, Maui.
Volunteer for future assistance missions.
Kipapa School Connection
Each summer we collect school supplies for the students of nearby Kipapa Elementary School. With adequate provisions, teachers are enabled to sufficiently and productively achieve stated objectives that satisfy students’ academic needs. Cash donations to the school may help to defray the cost of field trips for the students of Kipapa Elementary School.
Jesus blessed the children. We do our best to follow Him.
